You can watch this music video if you would like to check out the hair cuts, this song is anti-emo or just making fun of the "emo" style, but you might want to watch out of curiosity. And besides that you should just use google and type in key words, just search the net for examples.

Yea I think it is easy but I think if you don't have the right face for it you can make yourself look ugly. I think really attractive people can pull it off. but i'm not much of an emo person.

So my friend is in ROTC and is OBSESSED with keeping her hair short [like, boy short!] but she likes for me to style it when we go out, she wants me to be able to spike the back of her hair up [kinda emo style] and I don't really know how to do it!

Could some one please give me tips on how to style her hair!

As for me, I have almost shoulder length brown hair. I have alot of layers, and I'm about to be getting more and having my ends trimmed. My hair is very thick and quite stubborn, it is naturally wavy, but I straighten it when I'm going out. I like to put clips and bows in my hair, but I also like to spike my hair a little with gel and go for more of a punk/emo look.

Have her wash her hair and towel dry it. When the back is still damp, put some gel, mousse, or hairspray in it and blowdry it upside down running your fingers through it upwards so it spikes up. Or you could try doing it dry, using some pomade and running your fingers through it upwards with the pomade. If it doesn't seem to want to spike, the problem could be its too thick or too long.

well you can straighten it.. or if you have bangs that will look good too.. just work with it.. or you can make a hump with it.. that will look really good!!

just straighten it until it grows out.......and make sure whomever cuts your hair again knows that you cut curly hair different than straight...........ugh!!!!!!!!!

Depends on girl. Girls at my school love guys with shaggy hair that goes down into the boy's eyes. But like I said, it definately depends on the girl. I mean, I like long haired guys, but my friend likes freaky dyed crazy coloed hair.

I like it sort of long, like right to your eyebrows (and that same length all around), but not too long it'll look bad. A lot of guys that age (my age) at my school have that style and it's so cute =)

im 15 so maybe this will help, i dont really like spikes cause those require styling products and i dont like looking at or touching those. Longer hair is good, but not too long, just like somewhere past the eyebrows.

I've seen how they part your hair and somehow those clips clip it in so it lays flat against your head but that's assuming your hair goes over it to cover up the part that's attached. But some of these pictures I see --- like Paris Hilton and others it's all one length --- there's no shorter style on top - like a layered look or whatever that would cover it up. Hair extension help for hair that's fallen out?

I'm Black and had hair that was past my shoulders. I got it cut short and loved it, then got it relaxed 2 weeks later and the woman trimmed it into a different style and I've hated it ever since. Going to a short style is enough, then to have someone trim it into a totally different style I hated was hard.

I was stuck with hair I hated and there was nothing I could really do with it except let it grow. I bleached the front part of my hair and it eventually broke off. It is uneven in the front with varying lengths of an inch to about 3 inches and a totally different texture than the back of my hair because of the damage.

I've been gluing in a bang since it fell out and need advice on wether to get full extentions put in or what. Right now I'm also wearing a half wig but the front is not blending with the back because the front of my hair so damaged. I'm not comfortable with my short hair. And wigs don't look right on me. I also don't have a lot of money to spend on a salon.

Don't ever glue in hair again, that is the worst form of extensions that you can use- it more than likely is making your breakage worse. I like half wigs an it the texture is not matching, it because you need to buy a new one- one that matches your type and color. You can always rock a cute scarf over the front of the one you have if you can afford a new one. I supplied a link to the place where I buy mine from with a product suggestion.
